With the holiday season approaching, you’ve decided to hedge all your bets on this latest Crypto phase - but you missed that the thread was a few months old. A job advertisement catches your eye and they’re not even asking for a minimum of four years experience - just avid interest in the topic, eagerness to learn on the job, and a willingness to maintain life insurance.

… Maybe this Crypto Zoologist thing could be an untapped niche?

Yet after agreeing to the terms and conditions with a red-inked pen that hurts to write with, you find that there’s a bit more to this job than you initially thought.

The Misadventures of a 'Crypto'-zoologist is an exploration & detective roleplay game that uses an altered mashup of the Hints & Hijinx, Carta, and Passkey systems. 

Your goal is to explore an area, find the clues for what mysterious entity is lurking there, and navigate the obstacles you encounter. 

Inspired media for this game includes other games like Hand of Fate, Phantasmophobia, and Vaesen. As well as the theme 'Winter Horrorland' for the Winter Horrorland 2024 Jam.
